Solidaritas Rakyat Bantu Rakyat is a grassroots initiative built on mutual aid, care, and collective resilience. This zine documents the creation of Dapur Kolektif Lawan Corona, a community kitchen movement that emerged in response to the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on food security and economic hardship.
Crossing boundaries of village and city, farmers and workers, students and the unemployed, and people of diverse genders identities, the movement bridges social divisions, offering solidarity beyond labels.
Created by Dapur Sembungan, one of the twelve community kitchens operating across Yogyakarta, this zine shares reflections, challenges, and the urgent necessity of collective action in times of crisis.
